Al-Qaeda terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden is dead. He was killed and his body has been recovered by USA military forces according to Barak Obama

Osama Bin Laden, the founder of the jihadist and terrorist organization al-Qaeda, (who is recognized officially as responsible for the September 11 attacks on the United States and numerous other mass attacks against civilian targets) is DEAD.

According to the BBC: "The al-Qaeda leader was killed in a ground operation based on US intelligence, the first lead for which emerged last August.

Mr Obama said after "a firefight" US forces took possession of his body."

It seems that Bin Laded received a shot in his forehead by a sniper.

Let's see the influence of Bin Laden's death in the presidential campaign in USA. In any case, it will be considered a victory for USA (and particularly for Obama) in terms of that country's fight against international terrorism.

But more importantly, it is possible that Bin Laden's death will affect the terrorist organization al-Qaeda and undermine its efficacy and terrotist influence. (However, some experts argue that al-Qaeda, which functions through cells, is unlikely to be affected in terms of its terrorist actions, by the dead of a terrorist leader like Bin Laden).

Let's to see the impact Bin Laden's death on the actions of al-Qaeda, and let's to hope that this terrorist organization (like any other terrorist group) will be eventually destroyed.

The peace of the world depends crucially in an effective fight against international terrorism.
